Lars began military service following his school years. He was able to complete his basic military duty for nine months in Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards), which is an infantry unit in the Danish army's Danish army. After finishing his military service Lars realized that it wasn't the way he wanted to go and started searching for something new. He decided to pursue a degree in biology. When he was busy with the course, which had already been a half-year, Anette came home from a juggler class and showed him how good she could perform juggling after just three days. Lars was thrilled and wanted to test it. Therefore, he quit college and went to the juggler's school. He was taught fire breathing and the art of juggling in this school. He then travelled along with two of his fellow students throughout Europe as a tour artist performing in cities like Paris, Munich and Moscow. A few years later, he was into contact with a children's circus, where he also discovered pantomime and street theater and children's theatre.
