Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay fighter. She currently competes with the UFC Flyweight division. Valentina Shevchenko, a former UFC Flyweight titleholder, and UFC other fighter, is her older sister. Antonina Shevchenko started her professional career as an Muay Thai kickboxer. She debuted in 2003, at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner of the event and beat Suzane Milliner with a unanimous verdict. Antonina was awarded a medal of silver in 2007 followed by she also won a bronze medal in 2008 and a medal gold in the year 2011. Then she was named IFMA World Amateur Muaythai Champion in 2016 by the IFMA. Antonia launched her professional career when she was in the year 2003. Antonina has been awarded numerous championships, including the World WKC K-1 Light Welterweight Championships Lion Fight Lightweight Championships, as well as the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina was a part of Isa TIDBLAD Keskikangas's fight last time at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won with a majority. Antonina Shychenko's pro MMA debut took place in 2002, at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan when she faced Anara Bayanova. She took the win in the second round by TKO and won her next 2 fights in the WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003 to amass an overall record of 3-0. Shevchenko took a break from MMA in order to concentrate on the sport of kickboxing. She made her return against Anissa haddaoui, at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa via unanimous decision before prevailing over Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. Following the league's dissolution in the year 2018, Shevchenko enrolled into Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko beat Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina defeated Nievera by her impressive striking ability during the clinch final round by using knees on the body. Antonina's UFC contract was renewed following this victory. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hitters Finale against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko lost to Roxanne modafferi in a split decision, after winning her first fight. Antonina bounced right back after her loss and beat Lucie Puddilova in UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission during the second round. The bout earned Antonina the prize of Fight of The Night. Shevchenko had a win in her first three fights before losing the fights to Katlyn Cahookagian, Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina was recently defeated by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
