Vinita Nair
She joined ABC News July of 2004, and has been a reporter on a range of aspects, such as the Jon Benet Ramsey investigation, and school shootings that occurred near Bailey, Colorado. Nair was hired to ABC News in December 2007 as a correspondent/anchor for ABC News Now. Her responsibilities included anchoring live news coverage along with briefings on ABC's online networks. Nair was a co-anchor for World News Now, America This Morning as well as ABC's digital channel beginning on September 17th of 2008 until February 18th, the 18th of February. The show was hosted by Jeremy Hubbard and later Rob Nelson in both shows. Nair made it clear to viewers on World News Now that she would not be appearing in World News Now after Friday 18th February 2011. Her final day with ABC News would be Friday the 18th of February. Peggy Bunker, a former anchor for KDVR Denver, was her the direct successor. The edition on February 18, World News Now paid tribute to Nair throughout its three segments. They also had appearances by former and current coworkers, such as Jeremy Hubbard. Nair treated her crew to breakfast that was hot at the end of her day.
